Job Summary:
The Development Management and Engineering General Manager will be responsible for leading the strategic development and execution of plans to ensure the seamless operations and achievement of the organization's strategic objectives. This role will involve overseeing expansion, upgrades, renovations, and infrastructure development projects while ensuring compliance with aviation regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
Job Responsibility:
- Direct the development of strategic plans, objectives, and initiatives for the organizational unit
- Formulate and lead the execution of plans based on the organization's overall strategy
- Oversee opportunities for expansion, upgrades, and renovations to meet passenger demands and enhance operational efficiency
- Lead infrastructure development plans aligning with long-term goals and vision
- Ensure adherence to aviation regulations, safety standards, and building codes in design and construction phases
- Direct architectural and engineering design of airport facilities, ensuring functionality and compliance
- Evaluate project requests, proposals, and designs from third-party firms
- Engage with airport management and stakeholders to incorporate feedback into design process
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience in development management and engineering within the aviation or transportation sector
- Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, safety standards, and building codes
- Excellent project management and leadership skills
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and third-party firms
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Certification in relevant engineering or project management fields is a plus
