Airport Operations Systems Senior Specialist

- Support with collaboration with relevant stakeholders to analyze operational requirements and identify areas where systems can enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Initiate and prepare for the assessment process for the existing operations systems landscape and propose improvements or new system implementations to optimize airport operations
- Initiate and prepare configuration and customization of airport operations systems to align with specific operational needs and processes
- Initiate and prepare for review of the performance and reliability of airport operations systems on an ongoing basis
- Initiate and prepare necessary maintenance or upgrades to ensure optimal system functionality
- Initiate and prepare for training and support of airport staff on how to effectively use and navigate airport operations systems
- Carry out other job related responsibilities as directed by his/ her Line Manager

Job Summary:
The Airport Operations Systems Senior Specialist is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation and maintenance of airport systems, ensuring that all systems are running smoothly and effectively to support airport operations.

Job Responsibility:
- Manage and oversee the operation of airport systems including baggage handling, security, communication, and other related systems.
- Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to ensure timely maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades of airport systems.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the efficient functioning of airport systems.
- Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement to enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Provide technical support and training to staff on the proper use of airport systems.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of airport systems with overall airport operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in airport systems management.

Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing and operating airport systems.
- Strong technical skills and understanding of airport systems, technologies, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
