Cargo Development Director

- Direct the development of KAIA's airport cargo strategic plan and objectives in alignment Jedco strategic objectives

- Direct the assesment of trends, cargo commercial operations, and industry benchmarks to identify opportunities for growth and revenue generation

- Direct the allocation of cargo spaces within the Cargo City

- Direct collaboration with architects, designers, and construction teams to ensure that cargo spaces are designed and configured to meet the needs of tenants and concessioners

- Direct the development of pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and merchandising plans to drive sales and enhance cargo commercial operations

- Direct collaboration with airport management, airlines, concessionaires, and regulatory authorities to align cargo plans with operational requirements and regulatory guidelines

- Direct analysis and assessment of the financial and operational performance of the cargo commercial operations

- Direct the development and implementation of plans to improve the cargo commercial operations performance

- Direct the process of collecting and analyzing data related to revenues from cargo commercial operations and other key performance indicators (KPIs)

- Ensure that cargo commercial considerations, such as revenue potential, customer impact, and stakeholder interests, are integrated into project planning

- Ensure the development and maintenance of positive relationships with existing and prospective cargo concessionaires and serve as a point of contact for inquiries, requests, and concerns

- Direct the process of identifying and establishing strategic partnerships within the cargo industry

- Direct negotiations and the development of mutually beneficial agreements to expand KAIA cargo network and enhance service offerings

- Direct the monitoring of cargo concessionaires' compliance with agreements, including payments, operating hours, visual merchandising standards, and other responsibilities

- Direct the process of developing and executing marketing and promotional activities to raise awareness of the KAIA cargo services

- Direct the creation of marketing collateral, presentations, and proposals to showcase KAIA cargo capabilities and competitive advantages in collaboration with corporate communications

- Direct collaboration with stakeholders such as cargo airlines, freight forwarders, ground handling agents, and customs authorities to streamline processes, reduce bottlenecks, and enhance overall efficiency in cargo logistics

- Direct the process of liaising with internal departments such as operations, ground handling, security, and customs to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of cargo logistics processes

 - Ensure accurate and timely completion of cargo-related documentation such as air waybills, customs declarations, and shipping manifests

- Direct the handling of inquiries, ensuring the right processes and procedures are in place to accept concerns and questions and distribute them to the correct stakeholder to be processed

- Direct the process of conducting process reviews, identify bottlenecks, and propose enhancements to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency
