Job Description

Summary:
The Collection Senior Officer will be responsible for contacting customers with overdue accounts, negotiating payment arrangements, providing exceptional customer service, reconciling accounts, maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Job Responsibility:
- Contact customers with overdue accounts through phone calls, emails, and letters to facilitate prompt payment.
- Negotiate payment arrangements with customers, considering their financial situations and company policies.
- Address inquiries, disputes, and concerns related to outstanding debts while providing exceptional customer service.
- Reconcile customers' accounts, ensure accurate payment application, and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain well-organized records of collection activities and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Prepare regular reports on outstanding accounts, collection efforts, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Follow company policies and guidelines for collections, including compliance with laws and regulations.

Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of collection processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service and handle challenging situations sensitively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and preparing reports.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to collections.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
