Cyber Security General Manager

Job Summary:
The Cyber Security General Manager will be responsible for directing the development and implementation of strategic cybersecurity initiatives, policies, and procedures to protect the organization from potential threats. This role will involve leading and coordinating cybersecurity efforts to ensure alignment with the organization's overall strategy and goals.

Job Responsibility:
- Develop strategic plans, objectives, and initiatives for the cybersecurity unit
- Assess cybersecurity threat levels and establish policies and procedures to mitigate risks
- Execute cybersecurity plans in alignment with the organization's strategy
- Collaborate with stakeholders and third parties to identify cybersecurity requirements
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity principles and goals
- Communicate cybersecurity strategies with senior management
- Raise awareness of cyber policies and strategies among management
- Recruit and manage skilled resources for cybersecurity activities
- Implement controls to mitigate risks and address privacy concerns
- Communicate cybersecurity status during legal and regulatory scrutiny
- Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery programs meet cybersecurity needs
- Take appropriate actions in response to cybersecurity incidents
- Manage vulnerability remediation and communication with third parties
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by the Line Manager

Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience in developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and third parties
- Knowledge of risk assessment processes and controls
- Experience in managing cybersecurity incidents and vulnerability remediation
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA would be a plus
- Ability to adapt to changing cybersecurity threats and technologies
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
