Job Description

acilities Management HSE Specialist will be responsible for fostering a safety-conscious work environment, conducting safety audits, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and promoting excellent communication between internal and external stakeholders within the KAIA FM operations.

Job Responsibility:
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of airport facilities to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Provide and promote excellent communication between internal and external stakeholders across the KAIA FM operations.
- Assist with reporting incidents/accidents or emergencies related to safety.
- Drive a strong safety culture and influence change within service delivery partners.
- Implement and manage the Safety Management System (SMS) and the Processes to Work (P2W) system.
- Implement health and safety initiatives/promotions for service providers.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety by assessing Permit to Work (PTWs) compliance.
- Review and maintain all Health & Safety documentation in line with best practices.
- Inspect and audit FM service providers' safety leads on-site across Airfield, Terminals, Campus, and specialist Airport systems.
- Assist with accident/incident investigations, determining root causes, and advising corrective actions.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and sustainability.
- Audit contractors' safety teams and ensure the delivery of training modules, Toolbox Talks, safety inductions, and other required training.

Skills

Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Certification in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in conducting safety audits and inspections in a facilities management environment.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to lead safety initiatives and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
- Experience in managing Safety Management Systems and safety procedures.
- Strong analytical skills to conduct accident/incident investigations and determine root causes.
- Ability to work effectively with contractors and ensure compliance with safety training requirements.
