Finance Excellence Specialist

Summary:
As a Finance Excellence Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing changes in accounting/reporting standards, supporting strategic planning by validating feasibility studies, developing performance measurement frameworks, establishing metrics to monitor progress, driving change initiatives, evaluating and improving financial processes, and formulating process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions and reporting.

Job Responsibility:
- Assess changes in accounting / reporting standards and their implication on financial and accounting policies and procedures
- Support strategic planning in validating feasibility studies for investment opportunities and strategic initiatives
- Develop performance measurement frameworks and establish metrics to track financial excellence initiatives
- Support and drive change initiatives related to financial excellence
- Evaluate and improve financial processes, tools, and methodologies
- Identify inefficiencies in financial processes and develop strategies to streamline operations
- Formulate process improvements to enhance accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in financial transactions and reporting
- Carry out other job-related responsibilities as directed by the Line Manager

Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master's degree is a plus
- Professional certification such as CFA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred
- Proven experience in financial analysis, reporting, and process improvement
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
