Job Summary:
The IT Infrastructure and Operations Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of an organization's IT infrastructure, including strategy, operations, and support. They lead a team of professionals to ensure the smooth operation and continuous improvement of the company's IT systems and services.
Job Responsibility:
- Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies to support the organization's goals and objectives.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and data centers.
- Ensure the security and reliability of IT systems by implementing best practices and regularly monitoring performance.
- Lead a team of IT professionals, including network administrators, system administrators, and help desk technicians.
- Collaborate with other department heads to identify and address IT infrastructure needs and requirements.
- Oversee the procurement and installation of new hardware and software as needed.
- Stay current on industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements and innovations to senior management.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on operations and support.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of IT best practices, industry standards, and emerging technologies.
- Certification in ITIL, CISSP, or other relevant certifications is a plus.
