- Manage the team to act as a single point of contact in the event of incidents or emergencies and activate escalation procedures
- Manage coordination with the airport duty manager (ADM) to ensure seamless airport facilities management and readiness
- Manage the process of coordinating Key mission-critical oversight activities
- Manage the coordination of unplanned service interruptions in short period with OPS ADM , Contractors MDMs and WCC
- Supervise the process of ensuring compliance to Health & Safety by assessing on the ground the Permit to Works(PTWs) compliance
- Manage the process of activating FM maintenance emergency and FM contingency plans in short coordination with OPS ADM, Contractors MDMs and WCC.
- Manage audit and inspection activities to ensure service providers complete any maintenance work in a timely manner
-Manage the process of monitoring critical contractor's activities liaising with contractor MDMs
- Manage the process of inspecting critical systems and infrastructures (Aerodrome / Terminals / Utilities / Campus)
- Carry out other job related responsibilities as directed by his/ her Line Manager
Job Summary:
The Facilities Management Duty Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of facilities within an organization. They coordinate with various teams to ensure that facilities are well-maintained, efficient, and meet the needs of employees and clients.
Job Responsibility:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facilities department, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
- Develop and implement procedures for the efficient and effective management of facilities.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Manage budgets and expenses related to facility management.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Respond to facility-related emergencies and address issues promptly.
- Supervise a team of facilities staff and provide training and guidance as needed.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
- Proven experience in facilities management, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure.
- Certification in facilities management or related field is a plus.
