Summary:
Direct the financial planning and analysis unit at jedco, providing strategic insights, financial forecasting, and decision support to facilitate informed financial decisions and achievement of organizational goals.
Job Responsibility:
- Develop strategic plans, objectives, and initiatives for the financial planning and analysis unit.
- Create and execute plans aligned with jedco's overall strategy to support seamless operations and strategic objectives.
- Lead airport's financial planning aligning with overall goals.
- Collaborate with jedco leadership on financial priorities and long-term financial plans.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Develop financial models for decision-making and strategic planning.
- Track KPIs and financial metrics to measure financial health and progress.
- Prepare and communicate financial reports to leadership and stakeholders.
- Analyze revenue streams and pricing strategies for revenue maximization.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial reports.
- Conduct sensitivity analysis and scenario planning for financial performance evaluation.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the aviation industry.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in financial reporting and presentation tools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
