Job Purpose:
Assess and evaluate jedco's information technology, governance, internal controls and risk management activities. IT Auditors play a vital role in identifying vulnerabilities, mitigating risks, and ensuring that IT operations support the airport's overall objectives.
Functional Responsibilities:
- Develop an annual IT audit plan across various organizational units and raise it to the Business Audit Director for review.
- Assists the Director in Identifying key IT systems, processes, and controls to be audited.
- Evaluate IT-related risks, vulnerabilities, and threats to determine the focus areas of IT audits.
- Conduct risks and controls matrix and audit programs.
- Conduct IT audits in accordance with established audit methodologies and relevant standards and practices.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of IT internal controls including cyber security.
- Monitor and track the implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions by IT management.
- Develop and maintain the IT Internal Audit Procedures to ensure that best practice and addresses specific areas of risk management.
- Identify common features across audits and organization-wide IT issues, recommending appropriate improvements.
- Prepare reports summarizing findings and recommendations for improvement.
- Carry out other job related responsibilities as directed by his/ her Director.
Operational Responsibilities:
- Prepare reports and analyze data periodically and as requested and submit to the leadership in order to support in decision making.
- Report any operational risks and roadblocks to the achievement of the organizational unit’s objectives and targets. Recommend corrective action in order to minimize operational interruptions in a timely manner.
Financial Management Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the budget development process and provide relevant inputs.
- Ensure alignment with relevant financial policies and procedures applicable to role.
Safety Management Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing reasonable assurance regarding IT audit functions on compliance to relevant safety, health and environmental procedures that help in promoting a healthy safe work environment and maintaining environmental sustainability.
Airport Experience Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing reasonable assurance on relevant IT audit procedures that help in achieving a seamless, memorable, and enjoyable airport experience.
Academic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
Master's degree in a relevant field is preferable.
Relevant Professional Qualification is preferable.
Professional Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT auditing or related field.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, controls, and security measures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
