Job Summary:
The North Terminal Operations Officer will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence in Terminal 1 operations, focusing on passenger safety, stakeholder management, service level agreements, and service performance indicators. This role involves coordination with various departments, service providers, and stakeholders to deliver a seamless and secure airport experience for passengers.
Job Responsibility:
- Triage Passenger Gate No Show cases and collaborate with Airlines and Ground Handlers for service recovery, escalating to the Terminal Duty Manager when necessary.
- Work with Landside Operations to successfully manage peak Umrah and Hajj seasons, including collaboration, support, and escalations to control operations effectively.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and regular monitoring to enhance terminal standards and contribute improvement ideas to Senior Management.
- Coordinate the implementation of passenger experience and quality service initiatives, develop progress reports, and performance updates.
- Manage and oversee allocated terminal areas, ensuring smooth operations, handling congestion, service interruptions, and leading service recovery efforts.
- Collaborate with service providers, partners, and stakeholders to maintain a safe environment for passengers and staff.
- Follow up on issues and corrective action plans with stakeholders, ensuring effective rectification.
- Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and innovation opportunities in Terminal 1 operations and submit summary reports to Terminal Operations Leadership teams.
- Contribute to Terminal, incident, and contingency reports for review and escalation by the Terminal Management team.
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by the Line Manager or business requirements.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in airport operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and propose improvement strategies.
- Knowledge of safety and security protocols in airport operations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Understanding of service level agreements and service performance indicators.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Certification or training in Airport Operations Management is a plus.
