"1- Manage vendor registration process and maintain updating company profiles to ensure accurate vendor information and effective communication
2- Onboards vendors and proactively establishes communication channels for a smooth working relationship
3- Monitors the approved vendor list and blacklists vendors from the approved list when required
4- Manages and monitors the performance evaluation process of vendors alongside the end users
5- Records and keeps historical evaluation of vendor performance to monitor and ensure their performance consistently meets jedco expectations
6- Coordinates with under-performing vendors to agree on mitigation plans
7- Manages the Pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ) process to assess vendor capabilities
8- Manages and develops relationships with suppliers, ensuring quality, reliability and value
9- Approves bidder list by selecting proper vendors fulfil the specified requirements
10- Sourcing for qualified and capable vendors to meet the company requirements, evaluating various options and selecting the best fit for the company
11- Review and submit the LC reports
12- Carry out other job related responsibilities as directed by his/ her Line Manager"
Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Vendor Management Manager to oversee and manage relationships with our vendors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for vendor selection, contract negotiation, performance evaluation, and overall vendor relationship management.
Job Responsibility:
- Develop and implement vendor management strategies to ensure high-quality partnerships.
- Source and onboard new vendors in line with organizational requirements and goals.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Monitor vendor performance and conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Resolve any vendor-related issues or disputes in a timely and effective manner.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align vendor management activities with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in all vendor interactions.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in vendor management or procurement, with a minimum of X years in a managerial role.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive informed decision-making.
- Familiarity with vendor management software and tools is a plus.
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management is preferred.
