Summary:
The Waste Management and Pest Control Manager will be responsible for overseeing all waste management, recycling programs, and pest control services within the airport to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and reduce the airport's environmental impact. The role also involves implementing pest control programs to prevent infestations and managing waste efficiently to minimize landfill waste and identify potential income streams.
Job Responsibility:
- Lead and drive all aspects of waste management, recycling programs, and pest control services within the airport
- Establish and maintain the highest compliance levels in waste management and pest control
- Implement seamless pest and wildlife control programs to prevent outbreaks and cross-contamination
- Develop and implement planned pest control programs for over 700 airport buildings and facilities
- Create a comprehensive waste management plan encompassing all stakeholders and users
- Identify income streams from valuable waste streams and develop recovery programs to generate revenue

Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or related field; Master's degree is a plus
- Previous experience in waste management, recycling programs, and pest control services
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance standards
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement waste management and pest control programs
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
